About Juno
Who we are, and how we teach.
Juno is a small early learning centre in Surrey, led by its founder. This page covers how we teach, the rooms your child would spend their days in, and the community around them.
Our philosophy
Children learn by doing, at their own pace.
“Play is the highest form of research. Through play, children discover, express creativity, and develop the essential skills that shape who they become.”
A morning here is full of small, real work: a child choosing from a low shelf, pouring water without help, telling an educator what they plan to build next. We prepare the rooms, follow each child closely, and keep parents in the conversation the whole way.

What makes Juno unique
A school where every family is known by name.
-
Caring & experienced educators
Doula-trainedOur early childhood educators are also trained doulas, so the same people can support your family before and after a birth.
-
Personalized curriculum
Juno JournalsEvery child keeps their own Juno journal and workbook, with the curriculum tailored around monthly themes and daily topics.
-
Learning beyond the classroom
Monthly field tripsA field trip every month, so learning regularly leaves the building.
Principal & founder
Meet Miss Vish.
“It’s just as important to learn from children as it is to educate them. Their natural joy, curiosity, and authenticity teach us to slow down, embrace life with kindness, and approach the world with a sense of wonder.”
Miss Vish is Juno’s principal and founder: an early childhood educator and a trained doula who has cared for Surrey families’ children for years. At Juno, she leads the rooms in person.
Community & connection
Growing together as a family.
Being a Juno family comes with time together beyond drop-off and pick-up. Most of it happens on weekend evenings, so working parents can actually come.
