A few things you should know…
What led me to becoming a doula?
Years of welcoming children into my classrooms taught me that so much of a family’s story is already written before their child ever reaches a daycare door. The first days shape everything that follows. I trained as a doula so I could stand beside families at the very beginning, not only after. Looking back, it feels less like a decision and more like the path that was always there.
Where did my training take root?
In Costa Rica, within a model of care centred on connection, presence, and trust. The training was hands-on and lived in community, and it shapes how Juno cares for families today.
How do doula care and Juno fit together?
They are one continuous line of support. Some families meet me first as their doula and later bring their child to Juno. Others are Juno families who return when a sibling is on the way. Either way, you are working with someone who already knows your family, from pregnancy into the early years.
What is working with me actually like?
Physical support means hands-on comfort and practical help when your body needs it most. Emotional reassurance means a calm, steady presence through uncertainty and change. Informed guidance means evidence-based answers, so every decision feels like yours. And one promise above all: your birth, your choices.
